Yesterday we finally got a chance to use the snowshoes we got for Christmas! After leaving Austin with a couple friends who generously agreed to tend him for us, Nate and I headed up Odgen Canyon with Zipper for some fun in the snow.We didn't have time to go very far...only a couple miles in total. But it was a perfect day for snowshoeing and we thoroughly enjoyed the short excursion. Zipper especially had a blast chasing snowballs.
And hot chocolate always hits the spot on a cold trail!

What fun! I know my family loves snowshoeing up in Alaska! I'll have to try it sometime!
