Zipper: Our Newest Addition

Before we left for our vacation, we went to see some little seven week old Sheltie puppies. We decided to get one too. So, we arranged with the breeder to let us come get our new puppy after we got back from our trip.

I have been wanting a dog for some time, so I'm basically ecstatic! And Shelties are great dogs! They are very intelligent, easy to train, and are very good with children.

So, here she is! We have named her Zipper.

Zipper at about 6 or 7 weeks old

She is now ten weeks old. She is friendly and loves to play! She particularly enjoys chasing and jumping on all the branches that keep falling off our big cottonwood trees.

She love to play with fallen branches from our cottonwood trees with their rattly leaves.

Living up to her name; she loves to zip around all over the place.

In the few days she has been with us, she is already starting to pick up some basic commands like sit, down, wait, and heel.

She is a cute and very fun puppy with excellent markings, and she will no doubt grow to be a beautiful dog.
